Summer holiday project kicks
off
Fourteen young people from The Prince’s Trust
are currently working with Newcastle United FC on their National
Citizen Service.
The course runs over the Summer holidays and the young
people are having the time of their lives. Their first week has
been action packed and they have all bonded during an outdoor
residential.
They do have some hard work ahead of them as they now have to
use the skills they have learned to develop and deliver a project
that will be a real benefit to their local community.
Young people must fundraise enough money to make their project a
success. They are pictured here visiting their local community fire
station as a first step toward making links with their
community.
