Read below to find out what grants are available in your region.

Young people can apply if:

  • aged 14–16 and not expecting to achieve five GCSEs grades A-C
  • aged 16–25 and not in education, training or are working less than 16 hours a week.

 

Our priority is to help young people who are:

  • educational underachievers
  • offenders and ex-offenders
  • unemployed
  • in or leaving care

 

Development Awards

 

Funding available across Wales for young people who need support with course fees, equipment, work clothing, travel, work experience  etc…

Help available for young people that need help getting into farming - course fees, equipment etc…grants of up to £2,500

 

Community Cash Awards

 

Funding is available for:

  • 3 projects in South East Wales for young people with any ideas for arts or sports related projects to help the local community.
  • 6 projects in North Wales for young people with any ideas for projects to help the local community. Young People here will also gain some qualification units in Exploring Enterprise.

Prince's Trust grants

We offer two types of grant:

Development Awards are grants to help you get into education, training or employment.

Community Cash Awards are grants to help you set up a project that will benefit your community.

The Jason Kanabus Fund helps young people get established in farming

This includes:

  • growing of crops or fruit
  • rearing of livestock
  • maintenance of farmland
  • activities associated with or supporting farming
