Cunard: On route to the £1 million port!
Cunard is a Gold Patron of The Prince's Trust.
They are part of an exclusive group of our most
dedicated supporters and have committed to raising £1 million by
2013.
Cunard has shown incredible support of The Trust
and since 2007 has:
- raised over £680,000 for The Prince’s Trust
- helped change the lives of 680 young people
- involved shoreside staff, crew and guests in a
broad range of activities including volunteering, fundraising, work
placements and dedicated entire voyages to spread the work of
The Trust and raised much needed funds!
At sea
Cunard are dedicated to raising as much money as possible for
The Trust - encouraging guests to donate at the time of
booking their voyage, placing donation slips in every stateroom and
the ever so popular auction of the Nautical Map, unique to their
voyage.
As part of the Cunard Insights
Programme, Prince's Trust Ambassadors have joined voyages
to champion the cause on board. Previous Ambassadors include
Nicholas Owen, journalist, news presenter for the BBC and ITV,
classical group Blake and actor Robert Powell.

Shoreside
Cunard employees have consistently proven
their enthusiasm for helping disadvantaged young
people across the UK turn their lives around. They hold an annual
Prince's Trust fundraising week, take part in physical challenges
such as our WILD UK challenge and our Palace to Palace cycle ride,
and host special fundraising events in aid of The Trust.
We are also privelidged to have ticket allocations to a calendar
of exclusive Cunard events and auction items. These have included
much-sought after tickets to the naming ceremony of Queen Elizabeth
in Southampton, the Maginificent Elizabeths Concert in Liverpool
and a range of exclusive ship visits throughout the year.
