Fundraising classics

Fundraising classicsTried and tested classics like car washing and bag packing are great ways to fundraise.

With bag packing it’s best to pick a busy time like Saturday afternoon in a large, high end Supermarket (be sure to get permission beforehand).

With enough people packing bags on a busy day you can easily raise a couple of hundred pounds.

Supermarkets (and libraries and hospitals) may also allow you to use their car parks for a sponsored car wash.

If you can’t get access to a car park, why not ask your neighbours or work colleagues if they would like their cars washed for a small fee? You’ll be surprised how many people would rather pay you to wash their car than do it themselves.

  • Give up your worst habits and ask your friends to pledge their support. Once you’ve got them on your back you’re sure to stick it out.
