The Prince's Trust Women's Leadership Group is an innovative
fundraising initiative with a dedicated committee of leading,
influential women committed to raising funds to help young women
get their lives back on track.
Of the 40,000 young people The Trust helps each year, only
15,000 will be young women. And the majority of our donors are
male. Our mission is to involve more women in our work and to
motivate our female supporters to help us help more disadvantaged
young women than ever before.
WLG achievements to date:
- £2.5 million raised in pledged funds;
- 49 intrepid women have scaled Mount Toubkal and traversed the
Namib Desert, raising £204,608
- 27 events held since our launch in November 2006;
- 6 Prince's Trust projects have been developed and
delivered
- Many volunteering opportunities taken up by members.
