Development Award Assessor
Are you passionate, confident and supportive
with great communication skills and some time to spare?
The Awards Programme
The Prince's Trust helps change young lives. The Awards
Programme gives young people grants and one-to-one support in the
form of Development Awards.
Development Awards are cash awards for young people who are
struggling to access education, work or training. These can be used
to purchase items such as interview clothes, tools and equipment or
training courses which will ultimately enhance the young person’s
employability opportunities.
About the role
Awards Assessors meet young people
face-to-face to assess their development award applications and
provide support with action planning and, where necessary,
budgeting in order to progress their idea. On the basis of the
assessment meeting, they must make a recommendation to a panel on
whether to award funding to the young person.
We currently have an opportunity for an Awards
Assessor within each of the following areas:
North Lanarkshire, East Lothian, East Ayrshire, North
