Office Volunteer
There are a variety of office volunteering
opportunities at The Prince’s Trust. These support the front-line
work we do with our young people and are led by the demand of our
programmes.
Many opportunities are ongoing but some are for a limited time
only. Some are suitable for people with specialist or professional
skills, others are suitable for people willing to learn new skills
that could be useful for employment or to gain experience in the
voluntary sector.
By becoming an office volunteer you will help keep The Prince’s
Trust running smoothly and make a difference to our support of
young people. Office volunteering roles tend to provide
administrative support or undertake specific projects to develop
our work.
Examples of specific roles include:
- Client surveying post-programme
- Admin support: such as data entry
- Events co-ordinator: there are several events along the year
which need operative support
- Signposting research: e.g. sources of housing advice / funding
/ other for non-eligible
- Specialist/project volunteers
Our Client Groups
Our clients are those who struggle at school, are in or leaving
care, are unemployed particularly long term or who have been in
trouble with the law. We also target help at those with
disabilities, single parents or those who have had problems with
drugs and alcohol and underrepresented groups including those from
Black and Minority Ethnic communities (BMEs), refugees and those
from the travelling communities.
